Rubber grommets are used to protect or cover holes and reduce vibration. Inserting a rubber grommet will help eliminate sharp edges and protect electrical wires, cord, rope, lacings or other soft materials needing to pass through a hole. The rubber grommet will help shield the wire from damage.
