The Backland 107 W is a lightweight yet powerful ski designed for soft snow both inside and outside the ropes of the resort. This ski has seen widespread success as a touring ski, but it should not get siloed into that category as it can handle the resort no problem. Coming in at such a light weight, only 1470 grams at 167 centimeters, it is impressive at how much power this ski is able to generate, thanks to Atomic's Ultra Power wood core and Carbon Backbone. Being predominately a powder ski, the Backland 107 W feature's Atomic Powder Rocker Profile which is comprised of substantial rocker in the tip, camber underfoot and a slight amount of rocker in the tail. As a result, you get an amazingly surfy ski when things get deep, but you still get the ability to go carve a turn with confidence through firmer snow conditions. In the tip of the ski you will also find Atomic's HRZN tech which incorporates a boat hull-like shape into the tip for added float and reduced tip deflection, ultimately making the ski effortless to maneuver in deep snow. Ladies looking for a lightweight all-mountain powder ski or a hybrid ski to use both in and out of bounds will love the balanced performance of the Atomic Backland 107 W.
