The Gyotaku Hoodie pays tribute to an ancient Japanese art form born on the water, where fishermen recorded their catch through ink, paper, and skill. Inspired by the traditional gyotaku process - wrapping fresh fish in mulberry paper to capture every scale and contour - this hoodie blends fishing heritage with authentic artistry. Created in collaboration with local Washington fisherman and gyotaku artist Cody Hagen, the design honors the raw beauty of the King Chinook and the iconic Dungeness crab, celebrating the moment of the catch as both craft and culture.
